This hat is variously known as a "Henry VII hat", "French Bonnet" and "Myllan Cap". The pattern has three views.

View A is for a cloth hat with a bound edge with silk puffs drop pearls and gold cording like the Myllan cap on the right.

View B (left) is also a cloth hat with a bound edge and a knotch in the brim to the left of center front and a gold medallion.

View C is a felt hat make from sheet felt stiffen and sewn together.
